In-home CNA care provides non-medical personal support from a Certified Nursing Assistant. Approved help may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, movement, simple meals and medication reminders. Having a CNA does not make the service medical. Injections, wound care, medication administration and other skilled nursing treatments are not included.
CNA services follow the client’s abilities and approved care plan. The local team will explain which tasks can be provided.
Personal care can feel private. We ask how the client wants tasks completed and where help is welcome. The CNA gives the client time to take part whenever possible.
Support can change by task. A client may need an arm nearby while walking but more direct help with dressing. The care plan reflects those differences.
This approach supports dignity without taking control away from the client. It also gives the family clear expectations about the help planned for each visit.
A Certified Nursing Assistant supports approved daily living and personal care tasks within a non-medical plan. CNA certification does not turn a home-care visit into nursing care.
Skilled nursing may include medical assessment, injections, wound care or medication administration. Those services require an appropriately licensed provider and agency.
If the client’s needs fall outside our service, we will explain that the plan is not a match. Families should contact the appropriate healthcare provider for medical questions or treatment needs.
Families often begin with small tasks. Over time, bathing, toileting, walking or transfers may require more support. A family caregiver may become tired or worried. CNA care can add structured, hands-on support without removing the family from the client’s life. The plan identifies which tasks the CNA will handle and which parts the client or family will continue to manage.
Clear roles reduce confusion and provide steady support while family members focus on their relationship instead of every physical care task.
When personal tasks become difficult, families may be unsure what help is appropriate. A CNA care plan can add structure and comfort to daily routines. We learn which tasks require help, what the client can still do and how support fits into the day. Then we explain whether a CNA-supported plan is suitable.
The plan can be reviewed as the client’s abilities change. The client remains part of each choice, and the family has a local team to contact.
A Certified Nursing Assistant may help with personal care, movement, toileting, meals and routines. Exact CNA home care duties depend on the client’s plan, worker’s role and local rules.
Not through this service. Ease in the Home provides non-medical support. Assigned tasks must stay within the approved plan and the services the local operation provides.
No. The CNA may provide approved medication reminders but does not set up doses, administer medication or change instructions. Wound care and other treatments require an appropriate medical provider.
Both may support daily routines. A CNA has completed an approved nursing assistant education and certification process. We select the care team member based on the tasks and help needed.
It may support routines after the client returns home, including personal care, simple meals and movement assistance. It does not replace discharge instructions, therapy, nursing visits or medical follow-up.
Ease in the Home provides licensed, non-medical care through its Illinois and California operations. Contact the local team to ask whether CNA services and the needed schedule are available.
You may know that personal care has become difficult but feel unsure about the right level of help. Tell us what is happening, which tasks cause concern and what the client wants to keep doing independently.
We will explain the available choices and build a plan around safety, privacy and comfort. When CNA care is appropriate, we will select a qualified team member for the approved non-medical support.
Ease in the Home provides compassionate, personalized in-home care to help seniors and adults live safely, comfortably, and independently.
