Parkinson’s home care gives a person practical help with daily life in their own home. A caregiver or CNA may help with dressing, bathing, meals, safe movement, errands, reminders and companionship.
The goal is to support comfort and independence while giving family caregivers dependable help.
Our Parkinson’s home care services are based on the client’s abilities, daily routine and care needs. Support can change when movement, energy or personal-care needs change.
Parkinson’s can make walking and everyday movements slower or harder. A caregiver can provide approved mobility support, keep common pathways clear and give the client enough time to complete each task safely.
Our caregivers help with bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet routines. They explain each step and avoid rushing the client. A CNA may be selected when more hands-on personal care is needed.
A caregiver can prepare simple meals, offer reminders and help with dishes, laundry or light cleaning. Concerns about chewing, swallowing, nutrition or weight should be shared with the client’s healthcare provider.
We consider care needs, movement support, personality and schedule when choosing a caregiver or CNA. Chris Breneman, CDP #252621, and Diane Robertson, CDP, help guide our personal approach to home care.
A person may begin having more trouble with walking, dressing, bathing, meals or getting in and out of bed. They may also need help at night, while a family caregiver may become tired from providing daily support.
Home care for Parkinson’s can begin with a few weekly hours. It may later increase to daily, respite, overnight, live-in or awake 24-hour care. Our local team can review the plan when needs change. Medical concerns should be discussed with the client’s doctor.
Chris Breneman founded Ease in the Home after his mother’s Alzheimer’s and memory-care journey. That experience still guides our focus on dignity, careful observation and clear communication with families.
Tell us what has changed, which daily tasks are difficult and what help is already available. You do not need to choose the care hours before calling.
We ask about movement, personal care, meals, sleep, interests and daily routines. We also learn which parts of the day are easier or more difficult.
The care plan lists approved tasks, visit times, routines, contacts and goals. It may include personal care, meals, companionship, household help and medication reminders.
We consider experience, skills, personality, communication style and schedule when selecting a caregiver or CNA. The right match should feel comfortable for the client and family.
Families can share updates with local care leaders. If the client’s needs, schedule or caregiver match changes, we can review the Parkinson’s care plan.
Many people can remain at home when their daily needs can be supported safely. The choice depends on their abilities, home environment and available family or professional help.
A caregiver may help with personal care, meals, movement, reminders, errands, companionship and light household tasks. Approved support is written into the client’s care plan.
Caregivers may provide approved mobility assistance and help keep walking areas clear. They do not provide physical therapy or replace instructions from qualified healthcare professionals.
Caregivers can provide approved medication reminders. They do not prescribe medication, change doses or provide medical treatment. Medication questions should be discussed with a healthcare provider.
